We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with varying levels of experience to join SeatGeek’s Analytics team in New York City. Your recommendations will shape decisions across key Business functions, with an initial focus on supporting our Customer Experience and Risk Operations teams.
In this role, you will develop optimisation hypotheses and will seek to validate them via complex exploratory analyses, leveraging causal inference methods or A/B testing where possible. You will also enhance our Analytics foundations, building dashboards and data models, and contributing to key data pipelines in our data warehouse, in partnership with our Analytics Engineering team. Ultimately, your insight will shape our Business, Product Engineering team’s roadmap and strategy.
As an integral part of the Analytics team, you will be able to learn from our exceptional team and to develop your business literacy through substantial executive exposure.
Define, evaluate and monitor key metrics, understanding the root causes of changes, and proactively surface insights to your Business partners.
Conduct exploratory analysis to identify optimisation opportunities and propose approaches to validate them / quantify their impact (performing A/B testing where possible).
Communicate key learnings and recommendations to your Business partners in a manner that productively influences decision making.
Partner with our Analytics engineers to ensure the capture of relevant data and build lasting data modeling solutions, including automating analyses and authoring pipelines via SQL-based ETL frameworks.
You have 4+ years of relevant experience
A degree or higher in economics, computer science, statistics, mathematics or another quantitative discipline
Expert-level knowledge of SQL
Experience performing analysis with large datasets
Experience building reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools
A strong statistical understanding of success metrics development and testing methodologies
Proficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) is a plus
Domain expertise in Fraud or Customer Experience is a plus

The salary range for this role is $100,000 – $170,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
