Advances in AI language translation are bringing us closer to the concept of technological singularity, where machines could potentially surpass human intelligence. By analyzing metrics like Time to Edit (TTE), which measures the efficiency of AI-generated translations, we see AI narrowing the gap with human performance. While this progress is remarkable, challenges in defining and achieving true AGI remain.
