About the role:

This is a dynamic, high-energy role in which you will renew Samsara’s commercial relationships with its small and mid-sized customers. Typical sales will be up to $30k annually and involve multiple stakeholders and multi-faceted pricing negotiations. As Renewals Sales is a new team within Samsara, this person must thrive in a dynamic environment where strategies, systems, and processes are not perfect, but success must be obtained regardless. The team is expected to grow rapidly so this candidate must be ready to scale with the needs of the business.

In this role, you will:

Own 30+ renewal engagements per quarter from end-to-end
Successfully renew 2M+ (ACV) Samsara contracts on time
Partner with Enterprise CSMs on customer business reviews for account and POC introductions
Build creative proposal and pricing strategy for executive presentations
Maintain SFDC hygiene for leadership visibility and pipeline prioritization
Collaborate cross-departmentally to improve internal processes and recognize gaps in the renewal sales motion that can be improved
Work cross-functionally, especially with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to strategically solve problems, upsell, and ensure a successful, smooth renewal
Proactively identify and contribute to material improvements in how the team functions
Contribute to an exceptional team environment that motivates the team to perform at its best
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

3+ years of closing sales experience in Mexico, working with mid-sized businesses in a high transaction environment
Experience working complex enterprise accounts
Ability to work cross functionally with different parts of the organization to find solutions
A track record of consistent quota over-achievement
Comfort with a rapidly changing, high growth environment
Empathy for customers and team members
Highly organized
Strong communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with Salesforce
